Post What buildings modify Separatism chances?
I'm new to this and enjoying it quite a bit. In this game there's a neighboring city that has a lot of culture partly because of several world wonders. I don't want a war with them because I'm on good relations, and spreading culture through espionage is insanely expensive here for some reason. So I'm looking at other ways, maybe sabotaging buildings that lower the city separatism score. Are there any buildings that specifically reduce chances of separatism, or are there ways to increase it through spy missions? Thanks.

Answer to both is: indirectly. Since espionage production reduces separatism, any building that produces espionage points can be a target. As for separatism itself - the easiest way to increase it is to push a city into unhappiness, either directly as a mission, or by destroying happiness-providing buildings. Another espionage-related trick could be to push them into a civic that would be vastly detrimental.

I believe the Jail is the first building that directly decreases Separatism.
