 Obsolete Archery and Great Generals.

Post Obsolete Archery and Great Generals.
This post considers just one aspect of the game, but may need looking into much deeper.

I researched "Flintlock Musket" which obsoletes the Archery line.

Very many turns later I got a Great General and to my suprise, I could use the GG to build:

National Wonder: Archery Culture.
World Wonder: Trained Archers.

I can not build Archery units, therefore these wonders provide nothing. AARG. :cry:

These wonders should be obsoleted by the "Flintlock Musket" tech.

It may apply to other national and world wonders, that give special promotions to specific units. You should check that the units are available, if not the wonders should not be available .

I will let you sort out that dillema - unless I notice any thing else. :)

I believe AI uses these quite sensibly, and won't build it if there are no more archery units around. Hopefully, if players are at least as smart, we can just disregard that. :)
