Because the assets are unpacked. That is a normal expected behavior.

I guess I will be stuck wth 3.3, Tortise uses MSI to install, I don't think the author there is honest, MSI's can freely changes things in windows, making a machines easily accessible to the outside, only Windows can use MSI, because its there product and they have the rights to there procuct and I want it to stay that way. MSI use is very dangerous and can as the author say be easily changed, that makes using it bad!, in this day and age.. You can't tell if the one your installing is safe, it is impossible to tells.. and it can changes windows at it very roots as easily as you can change a light bulb.. it's not coming with a MS approved logo either...
Thanks for the offer, I'm greatly sorry I can't accept it.

if they offer this in an exe I will install it, the thing that is different is an exe can be canceled, once you click install on the MSI it is installed, you have no way to stop it..

Eh, suit yourself. Nobody's making you do that. I guess you could also find another SVN client, as TortoiseSVN is just a UI for SVN. There's really a lot of them, it's just that the instruction is written with that particular one in mind.
