Don't know if it's possible in civ4, but here's the idea. Movement by railroad should be the same for all military units. A truck standin on a wagon moves no faster than a soldier in a wagon. Especially not twice or trice the speed.

That sounds very interesting. I think a mod that focuses on Realism can have this feature. I don't think it would be too hard to implement. Lets see what Walter says. :D

It is already so in TR for BtS. I don't remember, this may even be true for vanilla BtS...
