When switching to the civic Free Commoners I noticed that my cottages still sat at 30 turns to grow. I waited a turn to see if it might go down from 30 to 28, but ney. Am I misinterpreting the +50% growth benefit to the civic, or is it a bug?

Also are barbarians meant to tech past Wardens? We're at flintlock rifles and they're still stuck with bow & arrow and fyrdmen.

I can confirm Free Commoners isn't affecting any kind of cottage growth, but Working Class civic does work.

Is this the only value which is relevant to this civic and improvement growth? It seems to be right. Can anyone else corroborate their cottages not growing faster under Free Commoners?

No confirmation from any of yall that half of a civic isn't working?

no changes in growth with Free commoners civ in my game too...

So, Working Class does speed up improvement growth, but Labor Union doesn't.

I wonder why only one of these civics works at doing that part? They all look the same in the .xmls ;(
